okay so i heard you there is software that you can use on you laptop that uses ur cell phone wirelesly to get internet????

Yes. I use it with my Treo 700 with verizon wireless. I pay extra for it a month to connect the phone to my laptop to use the internet... to get it all set up correctly I just spoke with the tech support with verizon and they told me what I needed to down load and how to get it up and working. I 'm not sure what other phones that you can use this technology with, you may try asking your cell phone service provider.

Yeah you can
Some mobile phones can be used as a modem
You would need a cable to connect the two and the software to run the dialer program
Go to your phone manufacturer's (nokia, motorola, etc.) and search help and support for "use phone as a modem"
