Normally it's up to the best man to give the speech. Do you feel obligated to give one? If so, your speech should be to your wife. It is your special day. If there is someone that was very instrumental in coordinating/funding the event, you certainly can simply thank them as well. You don't have to plan some big elaborate thing, the shorter the sweeter, just say what you are really feeling, if you do that, it is much easier.

there are web sites to help you and give you ideas (i've had to use them sshh!) some are free some charge. just google search and find the best one for you and your occasion.

Speeches should come from the heart. Although, please remember that they occur BEFORE eating, not after.
