I've heard people swear that it works, but then how would any self-respecting person ever get a pimple around the mouth are? I get them around my mouth from time to time and I brush 2x a day!

Definitely - you know you have the right toothpaste if you feel the pimple start to sting a little bit within twenty seconds. If it doesn't then wipe it off and try another brand.
Lemon juice also happens to work, but if you want to keep pimples away for good and have really healthy looking skin: drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. You'll see results in a couple of days.

I've used regular, cheap toothpaste on pimples overnight for years, with good results. But the kind with whiteners and extra stuff hasn't worked well, nor have the gels. An easier (and more attractive) option is to spot treat with 10% or higher salicylic acid acne medication, then dab on a tiny bit of hemorrhoid cream. The cream reduces the swelling and redness for several hours, and you can apply makeup over it. Voila, invisible and painless pimple! It's a beauty pageant trick a friend taught me. Hope this helps!

NO!!!! Pimples form because your skin is creating excess oil. If you moisturize your skin, it won't need to create that oil & you won't need to deal with pimples. I suggest icing you pimple for a minute & then putting some moisturizer over it. When I'm desperate, I'll cover a pimple in moisturizer right before I get to bed. You pimple won't disappear completely, but moisturizing your skin daily will help make sure you're not getting them.

I've never heard of that... but something that works for me every time is aloe vera gel, just put some on and the pimple goes away.. you might give it a try, it's all natural and can't do any harm!

it works, but actual products made for acne work a lot better. I would use toothpaste when I didn't have anything else, or money.
