Does CAP (Civil Air Patrol) Carry Guns?

Do they carry guns at all?

Like when they show up at a plane crash and have to secure the perimeter of the location?

Absolutely not. The carrying of weapons of any kind (with the exception of knives) is expressly prohibited by CAP regulations.

it's a volunteer service so i doubt that they carry any guns.
