I met a girl after she gave me her number and met for coffee. She felt very comfortable with me from the get go because was beet red alot when I talked to her and she would extend her arm out towards me with her palms up and ask me a lot of questions about myself. She also had me sip her drinks a couple times, and asked me if I wanted to go out for drinks with her at a nice mexican restaurant after coffee. Her and I flirted some more and she laughed at practically anything I said. She also wanted to show me her new house she was trying to buy.and when I asked her for dinner she smiled broadly and said "I'd love to".

We were supposed to go out again tonight and she hasnt' returned my calls. What's the deal? It's been a week now and she's always returned my calls and has taken lengths to get in touch with me.

I know it's not me. Or is it? Why are they usually so insincere?

It probably has nothing to do with the first date. maybe just maybe you said something over the phone that you might not have meant to sound bad but she might of taken it the wrong way and backed off. she might be really sensitive.

Maybe you said something that made her back off or maybe your're moving too fast for her. I dated a guy for a few weeks and he tried to make me visit his family. It scared me away; I avoided him until he gave up. I don't know why but I guess I wasn't ready for that sort of thing. Of course I was young and didn't do the mature thing of letting him know I wasn't interested anymore.

If she likes you, she will return the calls unless she encountered some major problems in the family.
