I personally don't take any food with it at all and it doesn't bother me. I do however take it with a glass of milk more often than not. Not necessarily because it says to take with food, but because I have another med that is absolutely disgusting. I have never had any problems not taking it without food though. My doc recommends crackers usually.

I usally don't eat anything. But if it upsets your stomach try crackers or pretty much anything. I've done this with other meds. I take Trazodone to sleep as needed.
