Okay, I hope I understand your question. I was homeschooled myself for five years. When you say orientation are you talking about at the end of the year when an evaluator looks at your portfolio if you didn't choose testing?

They are basically two different things, but they can work int he same way, or you can convert to a grading scale if a college in the future insists.

I graduated a few years early and went on to college. However, I was evaluated every year with a portfolio that I brought to my evaluator on each subject. She would then give me a grade or something like excellent, needs work, etc. and say if I could move to the next level. When I was accepted to a university, I alongside with another evaluator translated evaluation into my G.P.A.
More questions ask me.

What?

ADDED:
Thanks for the clarification. However, I don't see why you would think you would get a grade for orientation. Did they say you would? It's not a course you signed up for, right? It's simply a part of understanding how to actually do the courses you signed up for?

Of course, none of us will know for sure, we'll just be giving you an answer that makes sense to us. You'd have to ask the school to be sure, but the chances are no, it doesn't count as a grade, although it can affect your grades later on if you don't understand it and can't manage the system correctly.

I am assuming that you are asking whether or not you are likely to recieve class credit for attending orientation.

Chances are that you will not recieve any points for attending the orientation. Most programs will simply drop you from the program if you fail to participate in a mandatory orientation.
