My boyfriend says myspace is like hook up site and he gets jealous when I check my myspace and someone wants to be my friend. I keep telling him that I'm not there for dating but he still gets jealous. Is it normal for him to be that way?

well, yes he will be jealous & yes at times some people do end up hooking up on myspace, although it's not your intention to, but you can start by not having so many friends on your friends list, because admit it, you don't even know most of the people on your friend list. So why even accept or request them as a friend? You should only have the people on your friend list who you & your boyfriend actually know in real life, in person. So that way, when he peeks at your friend list, he will calm down & see that he knows all the people on your friend list so there's no reason to be jealous you both know everyone in person.

yes it is normal... There alot of people on myspace... Just tell him it's just a way of making new friends and he needs to get on the site too if he has a problem... Tell him to check out the site... Don't worry about it... Most guys are like that trust me ...

CAN be for hooking up.....but normally people have one to keep in touch with friends and post blogs.

So I can see why he is doing this. Just tell him that you are only there for friends and love him very much. Then show him that under your information it says "Here For: Friends" and that it also says that your in a relationship. Maybe that will cool his jets!

Are you gay?
because you're a guy?

but yeah, so many couples get jealous from myspaces because they think people are there looking for hott people. talk to him, and tell him, your only there for friends.

He probably actually doesn't know that much about it... show it to him in detail one day, and show him that it says you're only there for friends, and you're in a relationship, and that it's not a hook-up site.

not really... lol what REAL relationship can compete with an internet one? I mean get real! lol There is NO comparison! So if someone on the INTERNET bothers him, what would happen if someone was attracted to u in real life?

Jealousy comes from being insecure. Just reassure him and try and move on. If it keeps happening then maybe you should move on.................
