It depends upon how much cornmeal, and the store's price, but in general it is not very expensive, usually only a few dollars. You can get cornmeal in either white or yellow. There isn't much difference except for the color. Cornbread mixes are usually more expensive due to additional ingredients and marketing, but they, too, should be inexpensive.
