so my new bf, of about 10days. (we've been talking for a few months) says I'm out of his "League" at 1st I might have taken this as a compliment he's saying that I'm attractive (looks & personality) but a lot of dicussions come down to this. he's said things like, "I don't see how you could wanna be with me, you could have anyone." I mean i'm with HIM!!

these statements kinda bother me, i'm not sure if it should though. This guy is a really great guy. He's sweet, honest, funny, close to his family. He may not have "typical" good looks, but i think he's pretty damn hot.

we argue about it sometimes, not very seriously, but he always says he got the better end of the deal. I like him a lot and i don't like him putting himself down i guess. or putting me up on some kinda pedastul(don't know how to spell sorry). I just wish he could see us as equals, like i do, ya know?

basically, my main ? is could this hinder our relationship a whole lot? and do you have any advice for me?

Perception: he's acting with low self confidence

Strategy: Make him feel like he has something you can't get from anyother guy and thats why out of all the guys in the world that you can get you choose him. He should then feel more confident and see why you like him over other guys.

either he has no confidence or he is fibbing.
are you in the same social sector,eg are your parents doctors, lawyers etc,and his are garbage collectors(not that there is anything wrong with that)
maybe he wants to dump you and hasnt got the guts to come right out with it.
by the way,you were very close, its pedestal.
