I think the main determinate here is you. You've been ill and the bacteria basically overtook your immune system. When I had pneumonia, it was a month or 6 weeks before I finally felt like myself ... but only you know how sick you've been. Each person's recovery is different.

That said, you know your limits. If you are using the inhaler because of need (and not that the doctor says do it twice a day, etc.), I would say your lungs are not strong enough yet to work out. If you truly had a light case and the antibiotics are working and you are feeling better, start slowly with some distance walking. Then gradually up the ante on your body to ensure you stay healthy.

Good luck -- and bravo to you for wanting to get back to normal so quickly!

Don't do it. Rest and be good to yourself. It isn't anything to mess around with and to have a relapse would put you in the hospital maybe and you don't want that. Keep taking all the antibiotics, rest, drink fluids and do inhaler as ordered. You still have junk in your lungs and working out or even stressing by going out and walking would be a big mistake. You need to get the lungs cleaned out first and get healthy again. People die from Pneumonia, not so much because of the great antibiotics, but still....don't be too eager to start doing anything. Get well. Drink some chicken soup and take care of yourself, please. Love coming your way.

well, the last thing you want is a relapse. start after the antibiotic is gone, and get lots of sunshine.

If you feel ok, start now with ONLY a slow walk. No sweating or getting your heart up.

This is something you should have asked your doctor.
