Other than the obvious which is getting her fixed, is there anything at all u can do 2make them feel better? Im wondering if they're upset at all, as far as feeling bad maybe, & is there anything i can do 4her? I have a male cat but he's fat n lazy n wont be bothered with her. I just wish i could comfort her somehow, hate hearing her cry all the time. Any advice is great! Thanks in advance ;)

Hi Trinity...in all honesty, spaying is the only solution for a cat who is in "heat". Her hormones are raging which is causing the caterwaulings which can be unbearable to hear.

Most animal shelters will perform spay/neuters for a very low fee and sometimes for free to qualifying recipients. If you are located in the USA consider ringing 1-800-SPAY USA http://spayusa.org to locate a shelter nearby you to arrange for an appointment.

Sorry, there really is nothing you can do, but fix her. Even then, if she's gone through her heat cycle a long time, she'll still go into heat after spaying (as my cat did). The difference is she's only yowling for a day instead of several weeks.

Yeah, you can spay her. But, for right now if you are choosing not to spay her, get earplugs and read further, try and calm her down, pet her, speak softly. Cover her gently, it sometimes can help!

You can take a Q-tip and some olive oil, dip the Q-tip in the olive oil and gently insert and massage her rectum. It should help ease her discomfort.

Hope this helps, Good Luck.
