And how can I fix this? We play together and hug all the time at school, but I just don't feel it like I do at home late at night. Why?

I feel the same way with my husband. I think when u are with a person, all your emotions are use to that person so its not that big a deal, you pretty much with out tryin take them for granted.
But when you are not around them you dont have that familuar touch or smell to linger around you so you start to miss them.
