Every child is different. So don't let someone tell you a certain age is appropriate for your child. You are the one to look for signs that they understand the concept of going to the potty. You want them to be potty trained not you! Encourage them by having a potty chair in a nice place in your bathroom. Do not put the potty in the living room, kitchen, etc. It must be in the bathroom. Go with them, you sit on your potty, they sit. Let them know it is a normal way of going! Before you know it, they will catch on to the idea and that will be it! I potty trained 4 this way and never had a problem. They all trained at different ages, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 2, almost 3. All were girls! Boys I've heard can take a little longer. Take care and try to be patient and relax, it will happen.

All kids are different- there is no magic age- although experts say they are not ready physically until 3 or later. My daughter, now 4 began potty training around 2 1/2 when I unpacked the potty chair from the box and set in the dining room. I forgot about it and she became curious by it and just took her pants off and sat down. This was great for a while, then she backed off for a while and started up again. They let you know when they are ready!!

You can start potty training as early as 16 months if the child seems ready. I would choose 2 in most cases. If that does not work and your child does not seem to be ready just try again. Be patient and understanding with your child. I learned that when my children started potty training they would become afraid of pooping, I later found out that is because they think they are loosing a body part. Poor things. Good luck.

You should buy a potty seat he can use at the grownup potty, or you'll be able to make him use the youngster. Either method you can almost always ought to keep in the toilet with him till he is going for the primary few months of potty coaching. Don't anticipate him to be in a position to move in there and maintain it himself. Grab a e-book and plant your self till he is going. Don't make it disturbing. You can present a gift of a few style if he makes use of both potty (like 2 m&m's). Be sufferer even though he isn't and do not fear. Training takes time.

It is ok to start potty training as soon as your baby can walk well. All children will potty train at their own pace anyway but it is never too early to see if they can do it. As long as they are walking around on their own you can introduce them to the potty.

About 18 months or whenever they realize that it is supposed to be a private thing. My son would do things like hide in corners and stuff so I knew it was time. He knew that it was nasty and he did not want it on him. It is different with every child.

neither, start trying at 11 months.just like a puppy, the earlier, the easier.that's crazy for a child to still be soiling him/herself at 3 years old.
