I had my gallbladder removed in 2003.
I was told there may be some kind of enzyme I might have to take if I had complications with diarrhea ect... afterwards.
The enzymes did not help me however and
since then I have had severe, cramping diarrhea every single day.
It is mostly liquid and very yellow and oily (sorry about the icky details).
I know where every single public bathroom is in every store I shop at.
I keep a spare pair of undies and jeans in the car with me at all times due to frequesnt accidents. I get horrible cramps, pain and then the diarrhea just comes whether I am ready or not.
I have now finally been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
Have a good talk with your doctor and see what else is going on with your digestive tract. Maybe you need those enzymes or maybe you have something else going on like I do.
I wish you well and hope you get to feeling better soon!

I got over the diarrhea by avoiding triggers like coffee and hot tea. The stomach pains happen less when I avoid fatty foods which our gallbladders helped to digest. I also avoid heavy meals as it leads to a bathroom rush.

Are you sure you don't have an ulcer too! This happened to me- they took out my gallbladder- and I still had severe pain-they found an ulcer. Yeah, fun.

My mother has that problem. We will be in the middle of eating and she runs to the restroom. Try using an acid reducer.
