I spent the majority of my life as an Athiest and reletavist. I denied an absolute God and jesus christ, I lived my life the way i wanted to
and often looked down upon people who prostelyzed. I persited in this view until oned ay God himself confronted me, he confronted me with His Holiness and His thunderous law. At once I was taken back to my youth and reminded of my transgressions of His Law (ten Commandments), I remebered the many times I unthoughtfully blasphemed Gods name, lied, fornicated with my eyes and my thoughts, and all the times I live an idolatrous lfe of material items. I came to the realization of Gods Holiness and Justice and the Consequneces of my transgressions (hell). Then at the most fearful time in my life, God revealed to me why Jesus died, I broke His law and Jesus paid my fine with his lifes blood, and he alone held the key to death and hell. I knew what I must do, i fell on my face and pleaded with God in repentace, and I placed my faith in Jesus.

The Moment I repented and placed faith in jesus, it was Much like what happened to the apostle paul. my blinded eyes were opened, God has made me a new creature and an acceptable servant and wittness and has given His spirit as a wittness of His indwelling withing me. Im wonderfully blessed the Lord saught me though i was rebelling. and he promises the same to anyone who repents and trust in him. The savior Himself says "i am the way the truth and the life, and no man cometh to the father but by me."
God Bless

Sounds like a hardened heart broken by the Law of God and humbled to the point of true repentance. Your story is my story, only I walked around calling myself a christian until I was hit by the Moral Law of God and truly realized who I was and who Jesus really is. Now I can know that I am soundly saved and so are you. Praise God.

Another example of an "Instant Conversation" in a moment of stirred emotions. When people convert to atheism, the story is usually one of study, introspection, research, and learning.

thru reading in the religion section today alone i've realize like never before that you actually have to go thru Jesus to get to God I mean I knew they were two seperate things but I thought you could believe in each alone not thru one to the other if you get me but anyways I'm glad that you were able to have this experience and knew what to do with it, so many dont take the chance or even see it, or ignore it so you are lucky and special good going. I'm curious as to what actually opened your eyes how he came to you? Kim

This proves that as long as a person is on this side of eternity that there is always hope that they will repent and turn their lives over to a wonderful loving God.
God Bless you!

I agree with Don - this story is lame and unconvincing. The verifiable facts are obviously false, so why should anyone believe that the unverifiable ones are true? You were never an atheist - you just thought it'd make a better story if you said that you were.

That's great, but how come he never does that for the rest of us?
