This seems to be a very common question right now. Where are the hogs at?
Feral hogs do not maintain a consistant "range". There could be 12 here today but none tomorrow. They will travel in a straight line for miles if food sources hold out. Or they can stay within a 2 or 3 acre area "rooting" until the entire area is devoid of vegetation.
Your best bet is to start out on national forest land along long established farms. Also use topo maps of the area you suspect and find low lying marshy or swampy areas. Draws, creeks, ponds and mud holes all attract hogs. They love to wallow.
There is no road map to wild life. Feral or natural. Your best bet is to spend time out there doing some ground level searching.
I wish ya luck.

Half the fun of hunting is scouting. As mickeyson told you, hogs travel over great distances. In Florida, I observed a large 3 legged boar in the morning and that evening I seen the same boar nearly five miles from where I had earlier seen him.
Ignore sign that is old. Only sign that was made today is worht noting. Find vry fresh sign and set up on it that afternoon or the next morning.
Remember, hogs have a sense of smell that is twice as good as a deer, ears that can hear you breathing 200 yards away. Do not under estimate the senses of this game animal. Mind the wind, be still, and make a clean shot.

I haven't been there in years, but if I were going to try for hogs, I'd start looking for overgrown thickets alongside the creekbeds. I'd try putting on rubber boots and walking some creeks to locate such thickets. When in a likely area, try to identify any hog runs, particularly leading to the water. Mark the area to stake out and hunt the next morning. The reason of course I recomend looking for places to hunt in the creekbeds is ease of access. Sylamore and the related creeks are for the most part, shallow enough to wade with knee boots, as long as you don't find someone's dug-out "swimmin' hole"!
As far as up-to-date information on the best AREAS of the enormous Sylamore Forrest and WMA's, you should inquire at the "56"store at ...Fifty-Six Arkansas. The smallest town in the state's general store and station is probably still the only buisness there. (It also serves as the local post office.)
It is located near Barkshed and Gunner pool, and the Blanchard Springs areas on the highway. I've heard a lot of hunting, fishing, and gossip spoken there.
Best of luck, man. Plug one for me.

Contact the Forestry or Department of wildlife.
They have helped me in the past for they really don’t like feral Hogs due to the damage they do to the wildlife habitat.
