My parents won't le me date what should I do?

Well my dad is the one who is totally old fashion....my mom is okay with some things...but she says I have to talk to my dad about the dating thing..and I really don't want too.What can I do?

Wow that's how my life was! How old are you to begin with. If you'r over 16 then I think you should be brave enough to talk to your dad about it! He need to understand that his "little girl" is growing up and that it's inevitable! Your gonna grow up, you're gonna date, and someday you're gonna get married and have your own family! You do need to show respect and prove to them that they can TRUST you! Be level headed and try to see his point of view too! You're his little girl and boys are the enemy in his eyes! lol If you can talk to him without getting all defensive and show him tha tyou are smart and mature enough to handle dating than you should be fine. Remember that they need to trust you so if he does let you don't blow it by doing something you'll regret and that will make you lose his trust in you! E-mail me if you wanna talk some more! I know I'm kinda' rambling on! I just have so much to say to you that I wish someone had said to me!!!

How old are you? You should be at least 15 to date and then have some strict limits until you prove you can be trusted.

I hate to break it to you, but old fashion fathers, tend to raise good kids. Listen to your folks. However if hes too old fashion, try and talk to your mom, she might be able to change his mined if you can convince her!
