I just adopted a sweet puppy from the pound. I want to name him Joseph but a friend of mine said that dogs should have simple names. What do you think?

Watch your puppy for a little while and see what name seems to fit it. Any name is good if you like it.

Please do NOT name that sweet puppy Spot. That is one of the most stupid names in the world for a dog along with Fido! Joseph will actually work because whether you call him Joseph or Joey, it's a simple, 2 syllable name and dogs respond best to those.

Joseph is an excellent name-and just call him Joe for short! I'm partial to it as this was my little brothers name that was killed in 2000. Good luck and give your new sweet puppy lots of TLC!

Dogs shouldn't have simple OR human names. They should have the most random names ever. (this includes all pets) Try a small, yet outrageous name; look around the room to find a word or think of a nice syllable; mush different words together. Be creative: try Brixx. I love that one.

It shouldnt matter how long the name is My puppies name is Alazaya and she listens real good when you call her she knows her name.... There both cute... Try something like Buddy, Max, But your names are cute!!!
