I am currently a student in college who is very interested in join the Air Force. I plan to take the HPSP program, to become a military physician, and become a commissioned officer, most likely a captain.
I was wondering if anyone knew the role of the military doctors in the Air Force? Such as how their daily lives are and during war, their training, and their pay.

Also I have wanted some opinions on what people think on the idea of joining the military. My parents are DEAD AGAINST it and telling me to change my mind, because of afraid of me getting shipped to war and dying. Lately after watching the video called "before you enlist", I myself am very perplexed. For I must go to 8 years of schooling, and what if I become wounded or terminated at an early age.
For those who have not seen the video, please watch or the gist of it, to really see what i mean

Thank You Very Much
