I got a Sunbeam breadmaker for christmas this year, and I am always searching for new recipies. I wanted to know if anyone had any good recipies they have used. I can find tons of recipies online, but if I am searching for one type of bread I can come up with about 5 different combinations in the recipies. I just wanted some good tested recipies. Thanks.

check out this websight. I go here for a lot of recipes because they are tested and you can rate them sort of like this websight:

First time using your breadmaker, eh? Well the recipe below should be to your liking. Hawaiian sweet bread is definitely the way to go! My boyfriend bought a breadmaker for his apartment about a year ago and this was the first recipe we tried out! It was great (especially when grilled and paired with some thin-sliced turkey breast, swiss cheese, yellow tomatoes, and fresh spinach or arugula). You should give it a try!

1 (6 ounce) can pineapple juice
2 1/4 teaspoons dry yeast (1 package)
3 cups flour, divided
1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk (warmed to 100-110F)
2 eggs or 1/2 cup egg substitute
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons flour

Place all ingredients into breadmaker and let it do its magic! (Be sure to read the bread maker manual for typical cooking time.)

Definetly go to www.allrecipes.com! They have tons of bread machine recipes there to try. I have a bread machine myself and love to use it cause not only does mix, knead, raise the dough, it bakes it for you. I have a Sunbeam one and just love it. A lot of the recipes on this website call for active dry yeast in them but if you want to bake it in your machine as well, you will need to substitute bread machine yeast for the active dry yeast. But you do need to remember to use 25% less instant yeast like the bread machine yeast than the active dry yeast. Bread machine yeast is designed to help raise the dough faster with it being in a bread machine than baked in a traditional oven. They also have tips on their website on bread making in your bread machine. Be sure to read your manual that came with the bread machine as well since it will tell you what order the ingredients NEED to be put into it.

why do you want to use a bread machine? you could easily just mix it all in a bowl and kneed for 5 min or so, throw it back in a greased bowl till it doubles in size, pound it down, let i rise again, throw it down on the counter, kneed again, and toss er in a greased bread pan.
easy easy easy!
seriously, when you get the yeast, it will have a basic bread machine recipe on it, mix it up! uses sunflower seeds, or oats, raisins, or berries, cherries, or rosemary, roast some garlic in the oven with olive oil, and when they get all brown, squeeze the roasted garlic in while its doing the kneading for you.
um, orange peal, and molasses. mmmm caraway. flax?
MIX IT UP
just take the basic white bread and substitute.
when your making a rye loaf, use cocoa, and molasses, for a darker rye. mmmm
makes me want some!
