The absolute best is a product called Straighten Out from FX Special Effects. You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, etc.

Having had curly hair all my life, I sympathise with you!
Im sure your bathroom must boast a large collection of styling products, that you use once or twice only to be dissappointed and move onto the next product!
While realistically there is no single product that will give you exactly what you want, there is a more expensive, but 100% more effective way to go...

Have you heard of the 'thermal straightening'?
It originated in Asia, it takes a long time to do (about 4-6 hours), but its very gentle on the hair, and doesnt make your hair look fake, dry or stiff.
When your natural hair grows through, it doesnt give a stark regrowth line.

I can get away with doing it maybe twice a year. This year, I have only done it once... but it makes styling so much easier.
Actually im pretty lazy with my hair, so it really is fantastic, I dont even brush it, and it stays shiny, soft and there are no fly aways.

As it grows out a bit more, you will find that you might need to get the brush and blo dryer in there, until you get around to straightening it again.
There are some companies who have adapted these methods such as Loreal, however, these can be super costly.
Try to find an Asian salon (Korean and Japanese do the best jobs), their prices will be significantly lower (but still in the hundreds).... you really wont regret it.
I was a hair stylist for a while, and tried numerous straightening products both on myself and my clients, but this is honestly the best way!!!! You will cut your 'getting ready in the morning' time, by sooooooooo much! It's so worth it, and just think, you can go swimming, and out in the rain, and you wont have to worry about that frizzy hair anymore!!

Use a straightening serum. Serums, unlike gels, will give your hair a bit of a sheen as well as protect from heat damage. There's a nice one from Paul Mitchell called Super Skinny Serum. It's a very small bottle that holds 25 ml (.85 fl oz) that sells in salons for around 8 dollars, I think. It sounds like a rip-off, but a little goes a long way. I have long, below the shoulderblades curly hair, and I use just a few drops when I straighten.

Also, just embrace your curls every once in a while. It'll give your hair a break from the damage of everyday heat styling, and you'll impress your friends with your versatile 'do.

Bumble and Bumble "instantly" - it truly is on the extreme priced area, because it extremely works wonders on the curliest of hair, use this and a straightener to get outstanding effects. My chum with very curly, organic ringlets, used this to get some outstanding, organic-searching instantly hair. in case you also pick a straightener, i might want to point CHI style Ceramic Flat Iron. it really is likewise extreme priced, yet, lower back, you would possibly want to no longer ask for more effective useful effects. it truly is what they use in attractiveness salons, receives warm quick and once you take advantage of gel, it doesn't damage your hair. you'd be needing to apply gel even as straightening your hair... the straightener is in consumer-friendly words practically as good as what you attempt to straighten, and also you may grant a gel so as that the straightener doesn't fry the moisture on your hair.

there are so many factors to this question.....it depends on if your hair is thick or fine....really course or really soft. i would recommend that you start with a professional product...start from the shampoo , conditioner, a frizz controller, and a finishing product...this may sound like a lot but do you want your hair to stay straight? try Redken's Smoothing Line. they have a full line for the curly girl that wants to be straight.also, if aren't using something to protect your hair you WILL burn it off eventually! i've seen it.....what to do to fix burned hair..cut it off!!!!! please be nice to your hair, wear it curly more often = )
