Of course life has meaning! Much more than if there were an afterlife! My only niece is pregnant with her second baby, which gives great meaning to my life. I have a 10 month old nephew, and watching him grow and change fills me with wonder. The flowers grow in the spring, the leaves change in the fall, the winter turns the world to crystal. Nature provides meaning. My friends my family, the fun I have playing scrabble, the volunteer work I do all make my life full, rich, and meaningful. There is no afterlife so I live for each day, and hope I leave the world a little better than It was in the morning.

No, life isn't meaningless. Death is not the end. Death is only the end of your bodily life. Your life is only a test for what is after death. I heard this somewhere, "Death is the beginning of life everlasting." I think it means something about it being the beginning of your life in heaven. I don't remember where I heard it but maybe it is from the Bible. Read a Bible and maybe you will get some better answers.

From a biological standpoint: Humans have a purpose in life: sex. Yes, it's true. Our whole point is to pass on our genes to the future generation. We allow for the evolution of humanity.
From my point of view: Life is a learning experience. We must live this life so we can gain knowledge that will help us in the next. We do this so we can eventually become a part of The One, or the Diety of All, again. Right now you could be Elton John. The next life, you're a hamster.

First of all, there is life after death. That is why Jesus Christ was resurrected, to conquer death.
Second, life is not meaningless. It is a test to see if we will follow Him or not. We lived in heaven before we were born, we came to earth to get a body and to be tested to see if we will be faithful in all things. A body is necessary for us to be resurrected and continue our eternal progression.

Quite the opposite actually. If you get nothing else after death, all the more reason to make life count for SOMETHING!

You are correct. There is no why in science. Life is here to recycle free energy at the surface of the earth.

Death isn't an end to your energy. Energy is transformed from one source to another. Energy never dies. You should have learned that in Science.

life has whatever meaning you give to it - if you can truly understand yourself, then life is wonderful, no matter what the outcome or 'end'
