Christ has authority because by Him all things, both physical and spiritual, were created. He is not inferior to the Father. The Bible ascribes creation to both.

this might help, my bible reads it more understandable...(is that even a word?...lol...) "For all things were createdby him, and all things exist through him and for him. To god be the glory forever! Amen." Romans 11:36

The creations of the Earth are unto God, and thus by association, He manifest's his glory through them.

It means that God is the premiere force in the universe, and through this He determines the actions of the universe.

This is how I interpret it personally, however religion should be about your interpretation versus my ideas. Try to sort through it yourself by breaking it down into smaller sections.

This verse means that everything that exists in this world was made for Jesus, through Jesus, and given to him. Also it is to Jesus that the Glory belongs forever.

My personal thought which may or may not be right on this verse is that everything you do you do in His name. So when you are good to someone you are doing it for Him, when you help someone you are doing His work, but at the same time when you are mean to someone you are not only being mean to that person, you are being mean to Him.
So He is everyone and everything, to glorify Him, live and work in His name, treat others how you would treat Him.

for the glory of god

Jesus knew his Father better than anyone else. He said: “All things.... have been delivered ...to me by my Father,!!!!!! and no one fully knows the Son but the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father but the Son and anyone to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.”—Mt 11:27.

the great ness of god ..gave jesus the authority and power to reveal his father.......(john 17:26..).....matthew 28:18

This is how the Living Bible states it - "For everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by His power, and everything is for His glory" Maybe that helps you.

Simple enough, 'of him' 'through him' and 'to him' people will get the glory forever.
You could simplify it and say "if you're all about God, you'll always be happy"

It means that everything was created by Jesus, for Jesus. The glory belongs to Him.

Look at the context: 30For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

31Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

32For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

35Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

It is an explanation of the attributes and power of God the Father: All things stem from God - "of God, through God and to God - are all things (created) - to whom (God) be glory for ever"
