When I was a kid visiting my grandparent's farm, they had a momma kitty cat that died. The kittens would not eat enough so Grandma made up some homeade ice cream that had tuna fish in it. I snuck some from the container and oh my God was it good! Does anyone have a recipe for this. My grandma is gone now so I can't ask her.

I don't have an exact recipe, but if you're really into coming close to what your grammy made, why not try using maybe 1/2 cup of fresh dark meat tuna and grinding it in a food processor. Add it to a Qt. of Vanilla Ice Cream and return to the freezer. Once it's returned to the frozen hardness you like, try it.
Wish you luck. Also, try searching for tuna tartar recipes and try these in your ice cream. It's worth a try to find what Grandma fed you. Good Luck.
