I want to buy a HD (50'' or bigger) tv but I don't know which one to buy, I like to play long sessions playing video games, so I need one that will handle video games without getting the screen burn in and look good in HD as well. Lots of people say Plasmas are not good but isn't it only the old plasmas that have that problem or is it the new ones too.

Get a Samsung DLP. They have great picture, arent too expensive, come in huge screen sizes, and even have a preset setting called "Game Mode" than enhances picture especially for playing video games. Also, they are impossible to get screen burn. I have a 50" Samsung and I really like it.

You'll have a hard time finding a 50" HD-LCD. I don't think they make them. But they give the best picture quality over the others and you don't have to worry about burn-in. Newer plasmas are suppose to do well against burn-in but I would suggest a smaller HD-LCD.

I bought a 37" LCD for gaming. it is FANTASTIC! LCD will not burn in, it's sharper than both DLP and Plasma, the only thing is a 50" screen will be more expensive in LCD than in Plasma or DLP. If you can, get an LCD.
