The Muslims called for death the Christians called for a boycott can't you see the difference?

There's a lot of things that are hard to understand about some Christians. BUT when it comes to critisizing other cultures and beliefs, they tend to be on the front line, making sure their beliefs are always the ones most considered. Gay marriage, stem cell research, prayer in schools, intelligent design... just to name a few recent ones! Its sad- these shouldn't even be questioned! All of these work out for the good and/or equality of mankind in one way or another, but because one group has a problem with them- things don't continue. Where would we be technologically were religion never brought into the mix?

SO to answer your question, they don't get it, because they weren't taught to. They were taught to believe that the only people on earth that matter are those that are going to their heaven. The rest of us can go to hell.

Icheeknows- You are a good example of one of the Christians that I am NOT talking about... the rest can take a look and see what a real Christian should sound like. You'll notice he's speaking in terms of understanding and forgiveness- a lesson a lot of christians could stand to learn. If this was my question, he'd have the 10.

I dislike the Christian right more than most people (i am Pagan afterall) but there is a very big differance between the Outrage that Christians show about a movie and the Outrage that the Muslims showed over the Cartoons.

Mainly the Christians did not RIOT and KILL people as the Muslims did. the Christians complain and whine about everything that they do not like. the Muslims set fires and kill people to make a point.

some of us do but we do not wish the people who made the film die a slow hard death. No fatwas to kill them. Muslims or the group of Arabs that are Muslems to my way of thinking are an embarrasment to God lovers everywhere. Where's the long suffering, the patients, all that. Yeah it was not a nice thing to do and probably blasphemous but I think God can take care of Himself and still have some protection left over for Muhamed.

Mt own opinion, those in heaven laugh at mans stupidity but they cry about a witness full of pride that may cause the lost not to be able to find their way home. Watching those displays of people acting hateful, whose gonna think hey I am interested in what they have. NO they are gonna think if thats what God lovers are like count me out.

The kind of witness people are drawn to is the kind the Amish showed the world when a man went into their school and murdered their children, now they showed truly Godly behavior.

The words that captures how the news people portrays Muslims as acting is very immature.

If I ever act like that I hope no one sees it.

Why can't people understand why Christians get upset when the media and others make fun of Jesus and make cartoons of Him and say nasty things about Him? I understand why the muslims are upset. It is the same reason why Christians are upset. No one wants to see their object of worship being dogged like they are. The only thing is: most people are afraid to say anything about Allah, especailly to a muslims face. But, no one is scared to say anything about Jesus. Read the bible, it is all prophecy being fulfilled.

The whole Muslim outrage business was seriously overblown. It certainly was not worth rioting and murder. It did nothing to enhance the image of Muslims in the non-Muslim world.

As a Christian, I do not care what Cartoons are made about the False Religions!

Would you get mad at a Cartoon about a Pink Elephant? Of course NOT, Because there are No Pink Elephants!

All other gods and religions = ARE AN ANTSIEST = = TO THE REAL GOD AND HIS WORD!

Thanks, RR

Christians understand the being upset part, we just think all the rioting and killings and threats are ridiculous. Christians don't do that and don't say we do. No one I know acts like the Muslims.

All that violence because of some silly cartoon of your beloved Buddha? Give me a break. No wonder Muslims have a bad reputation for violence and religious intolerance.

I don't remember the last time Christians engaged in a murderous rage simply because someone depicted Christ irreverently.
