You would have to be very unlucky if your girl became pregnant on the first time even if you hadn't withdrawn before ejaculation.
I'm probably at least 3 times your age and I can count 2 people I know that it has happened to.Very low odds!
Still being pregnant after menstruating can happen. But its far from normal and a high percentage of those cases are simply denial because of stress. The girls brain refuses to admit she has conceived and menstruation continues. Its not usually a real period more like just a small bleed.
Sure, should have used protection, but you didn't.
Not only young people get caught like this.
So don't feel dumb or anything. It can happen to anyone.
But, if you are going to continue to regularly have sex. Then your girl had best go on the pill, and you keep a few condoms in your pocket when you are with her. Its best to be sure.
She could easy get pregnant in the first couple of months after beginning taking the pill.
This time, go and get the early warning pregnancy test from a pharmacy!
Try and stay positive and don't freak out. Don't go getting into big discussions with her about, what will happen if..........?
Just discuss your plan together once.As I said in the beginning its not that easy to get pregnant the first time. With most people it takes a few months at least!
Can I say you are a great guy! You are obviously blaming yourself and shouldering all the responsibility.
Go a little easy on yourself!
But this is a lesson in life and learn from it. You don't want to go through all this stress again, either of you.
It was a mistake, the odds of pregnancy are not in your favour,

You already have a lot of responses, so your bases are probably covered, but I still thought I'd chime in here.
I'm assuming you and your girlfriend are clean and there's no chance either of you have and STD.
Also, let me just say it's kind of you to say you don't want your stupid acts to effect her, but it takes two to tango, ya know? he he...
Ok, so here's the low down:
Pulling out before ejaculation certainly reduces the likelihood of pregnancy, but doesn't eliminate it. For a couple of reasons. 1- there is some fluid that escapes long before ejaculation and this contains sperm (some argue that because of less competition, this sperm is more likely to impregnate) and 2 - there are cases of women who didn't even have intercourse but still got pregnant because the sperm was just that close... those are hardy little suckers, ha!
If she has her period, chances are you are in the clear. There are some women who have periods while they are pregnant but usually they are lighter and feel different, plus she will probably have other signs like morning sickness or the breast tenderness she might normally experience from PMS doesn't go away.
Unfortunatly you picked a bad week. There's a good chance she was ovulating when you had sex... that's bad...
In the future I suggest you use a condom and your girlfriend should go on some form or birth control and/or consider getting a diaphram. If you are young and she doesn't want to ask her family doctor, Planned Parenthood, among others, give out free birth control... or she could try to see a doctor without her parents...
Good luck to both of you.

Yes, she could be pregnant. A false period sometimes happens, especially if she was close to starting. Essentially, it would probably appear as a light period - which happens - but the uterine lining stays in place and a fertilized egg starts growing.
Leakage, yes, it can get her pregnant. The safest way for your girlfriend to get you off and not risk getting pregnant is oral sex. If you ejaculate even NEAR her vagina, sperm can swim the long canal and find an egg. That means just doing it between her legs but not inside her vagina is UNSAFE.
Pregnancy is not the only issue you should be concerned about. STD's like herpes and HIV have no cure. AIDS kills. And still there is the issue of cervical cancer for sexually active girls.
Sex is a great deal of fun. It's also full of responsibilities and responsible behavior. I'm assuming you're a kid. If you don't have a job, you're not ready for those responsibities. There are still plenty of sexual activities that you can enjoy without getting sperm near her vagina and keep your clothes on. Thats about as far as you need to go.

Yes it's not a very bright idea to have unprotected sex if your not ready. All you can really do is wait for a few weeks because she can still be pregnant and have her periods for up to six months or sometimes the whole pregnancy. Even if you went "off" outside of her there's always pre-ejaculation. If yall get lucky and she isn't pregnant, remember to use protection!! Good Luck!!

Well it sounds like you've learned your lesson. I'm sure you won't make the same mistake again. And really, it was her responsibilty, as well as yours, to take precautions. If she gets her period you're in the clear. Just make sure you always have some protection with you in the future. But, be aware that condoms are not 100% safe, they can break or sometimes even slip off. The only sure way not to get an STD or get a girl pregnant is to keep that thing in your pants!!

Sorry guy, but a menstruation cycle does not necessarily mean you're in the clear. It's a flip of a coin for that situation because my friend had her period about a week after she'd slept with her boyfriend unprotected and next thing I know she comes to me a month later 3 weeks pregnant. However, you may not know. This could be the time when the coin lands in your favor and she's not pregnant but for future references please, please, please to prevent this from happeneing again (Golly, I CANNOT stress this enough) either use protection of engage in other non-penetrating acts to reduce the "Oh, my cheese!" look (I wouldn't prefer some brands of virth control or contraceptive because, they DO sometimes work on some but...
(WARNING: GRAPHIC)
Some of them, like the one I *had* to be on, can break you out around and in sensitive parts of the motherland areas and in some cases can make your tubes sore and your menstrual cycle longer and more painful to alleviate the abnormality (your gf of course, not you). Try living with that...

I hope this isn't in the grade school section because you're in grade school. A woman is most fertile when she's ovulating which is usually 2 weeks before/after her menstrual cycle. However, one can become pregnant anytime because sperm can survive in the womb for a couple weeks. Yes she could become pregnant from pre-ejaculation even if you "pulled out." Anyway these are things that should not be getting considered after the fact. If you're going to have sex, use a condom. Simple as that. Plus you're protected from std's as well.

Since you even have to ask the question tells me 2 things for sure:
1. you are too stupid to risk the life or the rest of your life for a few minutes of "fun" (and I am sure it was not that good anyway)
2. you are too stupid to raise a child.
A friend of mine, while I was in his freshmen year of High School, was having sex with his girlfriend. He was told how to have "safe sex" and was doing it.
His folks said ?He is going to do it anyway he might as well do be safe about it.
shortly after his girlfriend moved in with him and his mom. He needed his mom to help him raise his new child. Of course that was 15 years ago and you kids are a lot smarter now (sarcastic snicker)

Yes, there's a chance that sperm got in her. Small chance, but the chance exists. If she has her period, then she's not pregnant. Just use protection next time if it's so stressful. And the onus isn't on you alone. It takes two to tango.
