"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."-1 John 1:9
If you have asked for forgiveness and accepted the free gift of salvation then you are going to heaven reguardless of how often you attend church, but it's still a good idea to find a Bible-based church so you can get grounded in the Word.

No christianity isnt becuase of Church. if you are a christian it means you have made a committment with God and asked him to forgive you of your sins and that you believe in him and who he is. it is recommended that christians DO go to church because it helps with the 'walk with God' an its good to be amongst other christians to encourage you and priase God together, get support whether it be with a cell gruop or a youth group etc.. but its not like if u dont go you wont go to Heaven. Make sure you dont fall out o fhis way now you are not going though, taht yo ustill pray and read the bible and trust in his word an that he has a great plan for your life. I hope for you that you will find a church that you feel like home in again. i know how u feel, i have that problem now too..

As a Christian it's very important to go to a building where other believers are and be encouraged in your walk with Christ. The bible says not to forsake the assembling of yourselves. Jesus went to the temple nearly daily to teach. So if you think Jesus did don't you think you should as well? Keep looking for a church. Ask God to direct you to the church where He wants you. Out the blue God will send someone across your path to invite you to the church where He want you to be.

No, you are not going to hell, because you haven't found a Church. The same thing happened to my husband and I when we moved. We stopped going for about 5 yrs. But I missed it and we went back to our old Church. It takes us about a good 45 Min's to get there compared to a 2min. ride where we used to live. But we are glad to be back. I pray that you find something soon and make new friends, it just takes time I guess. God Bless. For a good Bible study on radio try ttb.org

being a christian isn't about going to church or any of the stuff we seem to think it is. It's about being like christ. Jesus said that HE is the way the truth and the light and no man shall come to the father by by HIM not church. Not going to church dosn't in any way send you to hell. Church can't get to to heave and it can't pull you out. It is a great place to come into his prescence and fellowship with other christians though.

No you wouldn't. I do not go th Church and I am saved because of what Jesus did for me on the cross. It is not by works, lest nobody should boast. Just because somebody goes to church does not mean that they are saved. Do you have a relationship with Jesus and his Father? Have you repented for your sins and meant them? Have you turned from them? Then if you have yes you are saved. See you in Heaven one day and soon the way this world is going.

April, sitting in church makes a person a Christian about as much as sitting in a garage makes a person a car. Going to church does not make a person a Christian. A person gets saved by believing that Jesus is Lord and by believing that he is Lord means accepting Him as saviour and as the only one who can save you from sin. A person does not go to hell because of their sins. If a person dies and goes to hell, it is because they did not accept Jesus as their saviour from sin. A person goes to church to worship and praise the Lord, and to learn more about Him and the Word. You can do that at home, if you have a Bible. Personally, I have learned more by reading and studying the Bible myself than from going to church.

If you are saved (meaning you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior) then you aren't going to hell. Whether you attend church or not has nothing to do with going to hell (or heaven).

No, you can be a Christian and not attend church. Churches tend to be corrupted by liberalism anyways.

going to church doesn't get you to heaven, sweetie. do you believe he died on the cross for your sins? do you love him with all your heart, soul, mind and spirit? if so, you're not going to hell. there's alot of people that would never miss a service and are going to hell, i'd wager. church isn't where it's at.
