is so, if that basic goodness exists, is it possible that it dies eventually? is it possible to revive it if it dies, or is it impossible to be revived? what is your input about this matter?

I used to believe in the inherent good of mankind, but not anymore. In my younger years, I never payed attention to the news, and often, it was to scary. I think goodness takes a little work.

Yes.

I believe that people are basically good because all people want to be accepted and live a happy comfortable life.

Unfortuantely many are driven to do "bad" things in order to survive.

Humans aren't good or bad. After all, how can we even judge good and bad? What's good to someone may seem like bad to another. It's in the eye of the beholder really.

No! The lord has declared all men everywhere to be guilty before him as we have all inherited adam's sinful nature which eventually sends us to hell unless we address the problem God's way and not our own. Man alway tries to justify himself in his own eyes but it is to be remembered that the road to hell is paved with "good intentions" Jesus hit the nail on the head when he said that he who does not believe on him is condemned already (John Ch.3 V18) because he has a condition in him which condemns him to hell and our "good works" can't save us because of this condition.

(Romans 3:10-to-18) as it is written: "There is none righteous, no not one;

(Rom 3:11) there is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God."

(Rom 3:12) "They are all gone out of the way, they have together become unprofitable, there is none that does good, no, not one."

(Rom 3:13) "Their throat is an open grave, with their tongues they have used deceit, the poison of asps is under their lips;

(Rom 3:14) whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness;"

(Rom 3:15) "their feet are swift to shed blood;

(Rom 3:16) destruction and misery are in their way,

(Rom 3:17) and the way of peace they did not know."

(Rom 3:18) "There is no fear of God before their eyes."

Thanks, RR

Good and Bad are relative.......it depends on the society...
so...i do not think we are born good or bad...but CLEAN...
i mean...our minds and hearts are completely clean and they get dirty with the things you recieve from the outside

People are neither good nor bad, they're just people. We're animals just like any other and, as such, we'll behave like animals on occasion.

yes - people are basically good (they just get lost so easily) - goodness never dies, it is a timeless truth; no birth, no death
