My ex-boyfriend dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home.On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. Why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile, when we only dated for one month? By the way, we never had sex during our relationship cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. We would cuddle, kiss, hug, & hold hands, it was a pure & beautiful thing. Even AFTER he ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn, so we did communicate during this yr. albeit only by msn. We just never met up & he never called me until that day he asked to go see a movie, after the yr. Does he feel guilt for dumping me & wanted to feel better by taking me out or did he miss me & wanna be friends? He's in Asia now, but comes back in one month. Should I ask for coffee one time, but just as friends?

It's hard for me to say. It's possible that he changed somewhat over the past year and now wants another chance with you. Or maybe another relationship didn't work out for him and he's looking for someone to make him feel better. Or maybe he just wanted to hang out -- sometimes ex-lovers make good friends after enough time has passed.

Anyway, it can't hurt to see him and feel him out. I'd recommend just going as friends for now and letting him announce his intentions more clearly when he decides to.

I don't think he feels guilty because it has been so long since the breakup. It sounds like he still has feelings for you. It is not uncommon for partners to break up a few times before entering into a long lasting relationship or even lifelong relationship. It is all part of understanding yourself and making important life decisions. Give it a chance. You are very smart not letting sex come into play in the relationship. You have nothing to lose by exploring it.

Wow. I feel like this is the same situation I had.

I too was with my ex for a month. But I was the one who ended it and he later regretted his actions (the reason why I ended it). He'd say hi to me on AIM sometimes. Then we started to talk a little more and became friends.

Then a year later, he said he was bored and was going to come over. So I was like sure. I do have a boyfriend but my ex is still my friend. It was obvious he still likes me. We still talk as friends. Nothing has really changed.

Maybe in your case, he still likes you. Maybe he just wants to be friends with you. There's no problem in asking him to hang out with you. He asked you before... so what's the problem in YOU asking HIM this time? It's all good.

The criminal themes are actual ideal if replied through attorneys. each and every state has that's own regulations in reguards to divorce problem's, and the courtroom order specifies precisely what he has to do and how a lot he has to pay. try searching on the divorce decree first and see if it say's something about her getting any fee of residing will advance. at the same time as i became divorced from my ex, the courtroom did not supply her the fee of residing will advance, and believe me that really made her mad!!

I think he has you on "reserve". I would let him ask you out again- not the other way around. Seems to me if he was really interested in you in the way you deserve, he would want to see you in person more often...

I think he is hoping that your attitude towards sex changes so that he can benefit from that. He is staying 'in the loop' until that happens.

Because he is being dishonest, you really should call it off with him.
