multicellular organisms are made up of more than one cell, thats why they contain the prefix multi (meaning many). Unicellular organisms are organisms that are made up of only one cell (the name indicates this again with the prefix uni meaning one). Unicellular organisms are asexual meaning that they there aren't males and females there is a single sex and the organism splits in two in order to reproduce (like bacteria)

Multicellular organisms are made up of many cells, but it's also important to notice that the cells have different functions. It isn't just a big blob of cells that all do the same thing.

Unicellular organisms are made up of only one cell, so it has to take care of all the functions by itself.
