Could be, cuz the final chapter of the bible is soon to be done and we will need new direction. This may happen quite quickly, maybe after the millenium. One thing is fairly sure, all the events in the last chapter of that book are soon to be finished. Not sure if we will get another book, a movie on our personal i-God, or maybe God will read a good night story to his children.

After Jesus Christ went to heaven and after the death of the apostles, "never" again would they have a prophet keeping them in direct contact with God.
When Jesus said, "It Is Finished" mention in John 19:30. It means, Jesus left nothing undone.
Revelation is the final book. It's about the new earth and the new heaven.

while the sequel will be wonderful - the inbetween time - the writing of the sequel will be hell on earth for many. while i pray i will be able to be glorified in the Second Coming (the sequel of which you talk) i pray it won't be any time soon.
