When I was in school I had a crush on a guy for many years and his mother was always trying to set us up on a date but I was ghastly embarrassed to show that I was interested. What a fool I was and still kick myself in the rear everytime I run into him cause he is the nicest man I've ever met and his wife is the luckiest lady I've ever met

Do you have any of the same classes or any with him? Ask a question relating to school or something you guys have in common. The conversation will continue from there if you just keep it loose and flowing. Ask him about himself and be friendly! Portray confidence, even if you're not feelin it

Try and find something that you might have in common. For example, if you know this person from work, ask him questions related to his work. If you know him from school, ask him questions about school.
Guys also like to be complimented about their looks. Tell him what you think about his coat, shirt, pants, shoes, etc. Ask him where he shops.
Another pointer is if you are nervous about what you will say or how you will say it, practice it when you are alone. Stand in front of a mirror and practice what you want to say.
In the end, just be yourself. If he doesn't like you for being you, then he might not be the one for you.

I know its kind of hard because when you like some one you feel nervous but i think the best way is when you know some thing about this person and just try to ask him something that you know about him and tell him that "it happens to you", or "you like that too", you know it depends on the question you ask.

haha totally. and i went for it! and it felt great. do you have a buffer? like is he inone of your classes? if not talk to him about a teacher or maybe something hes wearing. just throw a random convo out there and start talking. be like "hey did u watch the hockey game last night? im so glad the coyotes won!" or something like that. good luck mate.

just hi how are u?... dont worry he shouldnt bite.. ive never witnessed or heard of a guy who bites when girls try talk to them.. just be grateful that ur a girl and that u have a good chance of getting with him.. guys are easy to get. just be urself.. nice simple conversation, maybe flirt with him if u like..

Thats exactly how i feel! I dont know him that well, but i like him SOO much! Someone told me its more of a physical attraction, i dont believe it though. just fight your fears and make an excuse to talk to him. then do it daily until he talks to you too!

I have the same problem!! You could start by asking him a question like where something is, or you could "accidentally" bump right into him, then build it up from there.

just go up and say hi is how you start a conversation. then take it from there asking them how they are. it's simple.
