I have to agree with those who say to be thankful for it while you have this problem, because in a few years you'll be wishing for the sound of her voice. But it's also exhausting sometimes. Our compromise was that I could sometimes say, "I need some quiet time right now," or "I really want to hear about it, but I can't pay enough attention right now. Can we talk more in a little while?" My part of the deal was making sure she gets the time I promise her. She learned to exercise a little self-restraint and to be considerate of me, but she still feels like I value her company. I made sure that I turned off the t.v. or closed my book and gave her my full attention when the time came, instead of listening with half an ear and kind of getting annoyed. We're both a lot happier now.

as annoying as it can be it is these moments that you remember all the people who can't have kids or for medical reasons will never hear there children speak or for me today...it is the mother from Perth who would love this problem. She came home last night to find her husband had shot dead her 1 year old boy, 6 year old daughter and then himself. She found the bodies. Make the most of this time with her we don't know how lucky we are

Whoa, fist of all, have been those video clips PORN or in basic terms ladies kissing? If it quite is the 2d determination, do no longer freak out. Kissing isn't a criminal offense and it quite is not porn the two. with regard to the facebook account, very virtually each teenager obtainable has created their facebook account at 11/12, declaring they have been 14, without their mothers and fathers' information. i know it quite is incorrect, in spite of the shown fact that it would not unavoidably reason harm. with regard to the video clips... on the internet she could have stumbled on lesbians and lesbian kissing stated; consistent with danger she in basic terms have been given curious and went on Youtube to work out what it become like. formative years is the age of experimenting. enable her be and don't talk over along with her approximately it- you will no longer get any solutions out of her, and he or she in all danger will in basic terms circulate there and watch video clips returned in some months.

You can't! All you can do is get yourself a needle and some thread, so you can sew it back on every time she talks it off!
My 11 year old is the same way - I love it, but it drives me crazy sometimes.

It can be rather annoying can''t it? I look at it like this, I have a 15 year old brother who has never talked, not even a mom or dad or other simple word ( Autistic ) So I would hate to not hear my sons' voices.

Talk back. She probally feels that no one is listening to her at school or her other social enviornments. She probally thinks you are the only one that is listening. Maybe try leadership classes or theater stuff. It gets her voice heard and teachers her good healthy ways to get the attentions she wants.

Aw, that's so sad! You should be loving you and your daughter's conversations! Wait till she turned 14-15, you're going to miss them!
You are very lucky to have a daughter who likes talking to you. Enjoy it while it lasts and don't complain. And please don't let her know she annoys you, talk about hurting her feelings!

This is where you look back at when they were about a year old and were wondering "WHY isn't my child talking?" and WISH you had that problem NOW...It's called puberty...some girls get "chatty" at this phase of their lives...
