Well I think you should talk to your friend about how it makes you upset when she says that about your boyfriend. Tell her that you don't want to lose her and you don't want to lose him but it's not fair for her talk about him like to you since he is your boyfriend. Plus if she's your real friend she will understand that she needs to get over it and realize she's only hurting you and that you care about him and she should stop then.

I am not taking her side or saying she is right BUT maybe she isn't jealous. Maybe she sees something in him that you don't. Most of the time we can't see someone for who they really are when we like them in a romantic way. She does however need to handle this situation better. If he is an emo jerk as she calls him then she needs to just be supportive of the relationship and be there if something does go wrong. I have a friend who is dating someone and he is a jerk, period (long story but he has caused MANY problems). He has run his mouth about me and my other friends, I personally caught him kissing another girl (though him and her weren't officially together, he thought it was ok for him to kiss this woman cause it was "supposedly his baby's mom but got jealous and mad when she talked to her guy friends or danced with them), and I have heard that he was or still is sleeping with this other girl (heard it from her and a few other people). Just tell your best friend you understand she is concerned for you but she has to let you make your own mistakes. Ask her to just be supportive and to be there for you if you should need her if something does go wrong.

Tell her that she is hurting your feelings. Don't fight with her about it just be honest and sincere. Maybe if you plan some girl time with her and spend that time focusing on her and not talking about your boyfriend at all she would not be so jealous. It is easy to get wrapped up in a relationship not realize that you are spending less quality time with your friends. Just try to spend time with both of them. If this doesn't help and you friend is forcing you to choose, then she is not your friend.

Be straight-up with her and tell her not to do it again. You don't have to be mean, you just need to be assertive and be sure that she knows you are serious about it. She should stop.

just ignore her or confront her about it. one of my friends does the same thing, saying that he's just a useless druggie and stuff like that. but if you just explain to her she probably will stop.
