If he supposedly has a plan for each and every body, then wouldn't that negate any need for free will?

I think God's master plan for each of us is to allow and help facilitate the master plan we have for ourselves. Don't you find that whatever you dwell upon in your heart and mind is what you get more of? Don't you feel like you are in charge of the direction your life is going in? I sure do - I believe in free will down to the spirit level.

Peace!

Yes, which is why I believe there is no master plan, because God can change each moment, life is changing all the time. If God was that much in control why would he be interested in how it plays out?

We were already predestined by God before we were even born. God gave each and every one of us talents, abilities, are whole makeup so that we could reach our Destiny. Many people try to find their destiny outside of God, which doesn't work because the Destiny that God has for us will take us far and beyond the destiny that someone else has for us. We were created to Glorify Him, and to have a relationship with Him. But it wouldn't be fair if a Holy, Righteous, and Just God gave us no will to serve Him. That wouldn't be right. It would be more like a dictatorship. When we serve Him out of our own will, we will be sincere and learn to trust in Him

Master plan? Do you mean Predestination, and a prescient love for His own? I see this as relationships from eternity to eternity, not a layout of blueprints to control everyone's actions.

We are given both predestination and freewill. So, make full use of our freewill so that we may achieve a destiny full of bliss and blessed by God.

I think even though we have free will God is all knowing and he can predict every possible action we can make and still make everything he wants to happen, happen. No matter what we do with our free will he can work his way around it and still fulfill his plans.
