How would you feel if someone said this to you??

I am a single mother of four three sons and one daughter--My three sons have disabilities (autism and bipolar ) I was told "what ,man do you know would be with a woman with four kids three with disabilities?" He said it was not an insult but it certainly felt like one

That was an insensitive statement to say the least. I know at least one person who frequently says things like that. He doesn't mean any insult. He just doesn't think of how a person might take it. Insensitive!

I'd answer "A very special & patient man, that's what kind of man!"

That was an insult. You should have said "What woman would want a man as shallow and asinine as you?"

I would feel horrible. What a jerk. There has to be some good guys still out there that are caring and willing to learn and help out. Unfortunately, he was far from one of them.
