Our 6 month old female pug has been humping people since she got spayed 2 months ago. She only does it when you have your arm or leg on her chest during play. When told NO she immediately stops, but I am curious as to why she does this after being spayed.

We always let her know we are the boss ie. telling her to sit.. she sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. It's not like she does it all the time.. I was just curious as to why she was doing this. Thanks!

It has nothing ot do with spaying and it has nothing to do with sex..it is a dominance issue.She is trying to be top dog, to show that she wants to be the boss.

It is a dominance issue. When she does it tell her "NO" if she doesn't stop then remove her front paws and place them on the floor. At meal time always eat your meals first then feed the dog. When giving your dog food or water tell her to "sit" before putting the bowl down. When giving her a treat tell her to "sit" before giving the treat to her. Don't let her sleep in your bed. She needs to know that you are the pack leader.
