hard question ---
because i love both
rice is good with almost everything
BUT
i think bread wins
sandwiches are too good to beat

I like rice because I'm Asian, specifically; Bhutanese.
Back in the 1870s is Bhutan there was a deng fever epidemic brought on by British mountain climbers who had brought bread in to the country. Ever since then bread has been banned in Bhutan.

I prefer whole wheat bread to rice, but I eat equal amounts of both.

Nothing beats a freshly baked crusty bread all soft and warm on the inside and slathered with butter. Yummm........
