I know how you feel, I have done this before and regretted it. Just give yourself some time to get use to the shorter hair.

Enjoy some extra free time. When I got my hair cut short recently, it cut a full 1/2 hour off my time for getting ready...Now I can sleep for a 1/2 hour longer in the morning!

done that b4 I actually did it in June and I hated it, it was really short. It wasn't that I hated the cut it was that short haircuts are more upkeep I couldn't just put in a ponytail it in a bob right now and very layered. I am satisfied now but it is very frustrating, i used a lot of hair accessories in the process of it growing out headbands, barrettes, and bobby pins. It grew out quickly. I am so glad it doesn't last forever just give it 4-6 months

You get over it. I did the same thing. Sat in the chair and said go for it. Boy did she. The sad thing is the person who ragged on me most for having long hair is no longer in my life. Oh well such is life. Good thing it will grow back. So try enjoying on how quick you can get ready with less hair. The other thing is you don't have to worry about having a bad hair day. Every day is a bad hair day.lol

Suggestions:

Bad haircut
Instruction:
Do not attempt to fix it yourself. Instead, return to the salon or barbershop and demand a new haircut by a different stylist or barber free of charge. Or go to a reputable salon, explain your dilemma and request a remedial haircut. Or consider using a wig, hair extensions or hair additions while you wait for the haircut to grow out.

Play with it. Your hair is more versatile that way, free yourself don't you feel light headed. I know it can be very hard at first b/c you were so used to your long hair but you'll feel much better once you're used to it and see how little it is to manage. Also, check out those cool styles you can do with your new hair do

I've been there. As everyone is saying, it'll take some time to get use to it. Buy a nice hat. Hats look so cute on short hair. I'd get some foils put through it aswel. Play around abit, It'll grow.

Happened to me. Now my head is shaved. Hated it at first and couldnt get used to it but like all things, you will. I would try to enjoy doing things you couldnt do with long hair, like running and playing in the wind, spikin it, just shaking it dry out of the shower... it became so easy maintenance and comfortable after a while I just ended up shaving my head regularly. Rub your hand over your head. Its nice.

Enjoy it like you did your long hair. I had short hair 2 years ago and now my hair is almost to my waist. Its fun to have both long and short hair. I am sure you look just as cute with your new style. Just be yourself. =]]

This happened to me too a few years ago. I know it's just hair, but i was DEVASTATED. At first I wore hats and stuff to cover it up, then I got braids and extensions. But after a month or so...you're hair will start growing into you.
