I really like this guy who is a jock and is into sports too. I am not really that popular and I'm not like a dork. My guy friend confided to me that he is actually one of the nicest jocks in school and I know he is actually smart and not one of them mindless jerks. My guy friend though says he will not go out with me that and that jocks only go out with popular girls and my other friends say that too. I am though very pretty (my friends say I could be a model and actually I think I am pretty too) and smart too. So do you think he'll go out with me or ever ask me out? I really like him and want to get to know him!!!!!!!!

If you like him then take a chance and ask him out. If he says no then it is his loss. Don't let it bother you. trust me... in a few years, none of these people (with the exception of a very few) will even matter to you anymore.

Even a jock can be a kind, intelligent and gentle soul. The problem with traditions and clique is they make it difficult to get to know someone in a different one. My advice would be to take a chance, ask him out while he’s NOT around his friends. I don’t know if things have changed that much since I was in school, but if asked nicely by a girl I would accept or decline in a gracious manor. It takes some strength on your part, but it may be the only way you’ll find out. If he declines, then ether he’s not interested in you that way or not interested in breaking the Jock Traditional clique. Ether way, you are better off knowing, rather then wasting your time wondering. If he accepts, take it slow, be yourself and don’t let him think that you’re easy.

Sometimes jocks won't date girls because they're not popular. I get the same thing. Like, they actually might like us but they can't ask us out, ya know?

If a guy tells you he can't go out with,then he will definitely not go out with you.Maybe there's something more he doesn't like about you for a girlfriend.Move on girl,if you know or think you're pretty then why worry about a guy going out with you.Remember,not all guys go for looks.This guy may like you for a friend and nothing more.
Get realistic,beauty isn't enough for the perfect guy.

I would say that there is a chance that he would go out with you. You really need to just need to start small with him. For example get him to notice you (nothing risky) and then just play hard to get. Make him want to get to know you by being kind of secretive. If you ever talk with him try to find a common ground and go off of that.

Just because your not popular doesn't mean a "jock" wont date you. And if he doesn't date you for that reason then he is really shallow and not worth your time at all.

If he is that worried about maintaining his "jock" image and what his friends think, he isn't worth your time. Lots of guys appreciate pretty, intelligent girls.

You should feel him out by putting yourself in a situation where the two of you can talk with no one else around. If you feel comfortable that's he is a nice guy and he might like you, go ahead and give it a shot.

i think if you get to know each other than you might end up on his charts or something,talk to him first show him your not like the popular geeks who tell some one to tell some one to tell that someones FRIEND,that they like him.just say a few words here and there.and how does your guy friend know that he is nice,talk to him about that so you can get a little or a lot more about him.you might have SOMETHING..IN COMMON~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk to him.. put yourself out there so he could notice you... but don't look dispirit...If he is as nice as you say he won't care about your popularity... Good Luck
