meeting this girl and where going out with my others mates aswell we're going into town on a night out.
any tips since ive never met her before and i dont want to be all shy around her? please help.

Come up with several different topics to talk about. Make sure that they are varied so that you are sure to have something to say about something that she enjoys. Music can be a good place to start, for example. Try to find common ground. Also look at what your other friends like and make sure to incorporate that; that way, the two of you don't get stuck in any awkward conversations that go dead-end. Good luck!

Depends what you want, and what your and her interests are.
In this situation, might be best to go with someone else who knows both of you, and might suggests something they know you both like. Listen to her and what she wants or has in mind. And... TALK to her. Listen for her responses. Let her talk to you. :)
