absolutely. I used to do this in college. I'd add a packet of activated yeast to the bottle, and put a balloon on the top. (The outside air will cause the juice to grow nasty mold, but the byproduct of the fermentation process is co2, so you have to be able to release air pressure from time to time.) The yeast will eat at the sugar in the wine (add some extra sugar if you want) and leave alcohol in its place. store in a cool dark place. When the balloon stops filling with air, the fermentation is complete. Strain the wine through a coffee filter to get rid of the used yeast. chill and enjoy your ghetto boones farm.

Yes. Wine is fermented grape juice. Over time the sugar ferments into alcohol and viola! wine. Champaign is verysimilar. Champaign is basically white wine that has yeast added to it. The yeast and sugar both ferment and the result is alcohol from the sugar and carbon dioxide from the yeast which is what creates the bubbles. Cheers!

if your are referring to naturally extracted grape juice without any additives, yes, this juice can be turned to wine. this is by the process of fermentation and distillation.
to enhance fermentation you have to add a specific volume of yeast proportioned to the extracted volume of juice. when fermentation is completed, you have to filter the concentrate to remove filtrate. the solution must be distilled and lo, you have wine. just control the heat and have proper cooling during the process.

Not by itself. Left alone it will merely turn to a nasty-tasting vinegar. Adding yeast, however, and providing the right conditions will work -- but only if your grape juice is fresh and unpasteurized. Commercially-sold grape juice is pasteurized and free of the necessary bacteria to contribute to the fermenting process.

Yes it can be made into wine if fresh from the grapefruit keep it out of the refrigator and keep on the peel put in a bowl and cover for ! week so it can forment in its own juices than peel and strain and add suger let sit again for ! week covered than try it. Good luck

Yes, if the sugar content is high enough and it turns to alcohol. It ferments. I'd be careful though, it may have bacteria in it. Need to talk to someone that makes wine.

I am talking about taking grapes and pressing out all the juices and leaving it sit out with out adding anything to it. Will it turn into wine, if so, how long will it take. thanks

Commercial grape huice has been treated with preservatives so it is will not ferment. If you could remove the preservatives, it would not make a good wine.

you can turn it into wine with a little bit of yeast and let it sit with a baloon on top of an old wine jug or bottle which the wine is in and after the baloon inflates and then deflates itself( which will take a while..about a month or so)... it should be done
