My husbby & I used to attend a church in Burlington. Due to some controversy, the church split & we stopped attending just after 6 year old daughter was born. We have tried several other churches in Mississauga (where we live) over the past 6 yrs, however, none seemed to compare to the one in Burlington.
I was on the worship team & LOVED all the songs that we did. Most church's music just can't compare & our pastor was truly annointed. It is hard to find another Pastor with that kind of fire.
Some of the churches we have tried have been either boring or unfriendly. I told our daughter that if no one talked to us (either before, during or after) then it was not the right place for us. One church we attended for a few months & then stopped, but no one followed up when we stopped attending. I was a Christian b4 being married, but my hubby wasn't, so his standards are a little harder to meet. Anyways, if anyone knows of a good church and would invite us out, I would appreciate it. Thnx

Wow! 5 answers in less then 24hrs!! That's great!
We really would like one close by (unreliable car - and 2 small kids). Mississauga Central, Square One or Cawthra/Dundas area would be best. Thanks in advance to all that respond. Sue

Roman Catholic Churches In Mississauga

Well I go to the Prayer Palace.
We are located at 1111 Arrow Rd. Toronto

It's a rather big church and everyone is friendly. We have very talented lead singers, senior & youth choir and band. We usually have an Easter Theatrical that people from Europe and around the world have come just to see. Our Pastor has been preaching for 50+ years and is on fire for God. Trust me this church is NOT boring. Our worship and song service is very moving and you can feel the anointing. It's worth the drive ( I live in Brampton).
Why don't you come by this Sunday.

If you need more info for service times or directions, you can go to the website at: http://www.theprayerpalace.com/

I know the church you are talking about in Burlington, had some relatives attended there, but I don't know what to suggest. You are not the only one going through this. It seems harder and harder to find a good church anymore. God warned us that in the last days Christians would not follow sound doctrine but would look to having their ears tickled. May God give you wisdom in your situation and until you do find one seek to maintain a good walk with the Lord.
