How much does Invisalign cost?
Does Invisalign really work?

I am a general dentist who does Invisalign. I charge from $3000-7000, depending on the severity of the problem. As with many other health related problems, results can vary. I am very up front with patients about the possiblities, and limitations. In the right situation, it can be a great way to get beautiful results.

First, the patient must be willing to cooperate and wear them 24/7, and take them out only for eating and cleaning.
You must also understand that no matter what kind of treatment you get, that you will almost always need to wear a retainer at night for the rest of your life to insure that they stay straight.

Find a dentist who does this and most will give you a free consultation. Make sure the dentist has done more than a couple of cases. Good luck!

I used invisalign a couple years ago. My teeth were pretty straight, but I'm a dental hygienist so I wanted them perfect. I had consultations at 2 different offices and both dentists said i "was the perfect candidate for invisalign".They cost me $3500...which was at a discount since I am in the profession. (The dentist I didn't choose quoted me $7000.) I was told that they would take 9 months. After a year with no results they put traditional brackets on my lower teeth which worked. After 2 1/2 years with them on my top teeth I gave up. They weren't helping. I was very complient with wearing them and only took them out to eat, brush and floss.

My advice to you as an Invisalign wearer and dental hygienist...
Only get them if you have minimal corrections to be made especially if it involves extra spacing. They do not work well for crowded teeth, rotated teeth or teeth that have grown out a little too much.

Hope that helps!

Invisalign is for minor cases. It costs more then regular braces.

I paid $5000 for mine and have had them in for about 40 weeks. I only had spacing issues with my teeth. However, after 20 trays (I'm on my last one) my top teeth still have some gaps and I'm going to have to go back in and have new impressions made for a new set of trays. I like them because they're invisible, but the results have not been nearly as good as I was hoping. Hopefully they'll get it right with this next set of trays

does invisalign make your breath smell? It’s extremely the option…you may continuously brush and floss, anytime you're taking them out and lower back in, so your mouth has never been so sparkling 24/7! do you keep them in even as napping? sure, you ignore about them even as napping. do you may take it out once you drink no matter if it truly is in consumer-friendly words a small sip of water or soemthing like that? you are able to drink water, as a lot as you pick. you would possibly want to drink different beverages yet when it’s sugary, the sugar might want to get on your Invisilign aligners and get trapped there and reason cavities. i imagine the corporate tells you that you'll be able to in consumer-friendly words drink water so as that they don’t get sued by way of human beings having more effective cavities on account that they’re meant to sweep and floss in the previous putting the aligners in and in consumer-friendly words drink water.
