It's the Revelation of Jesus Christ. It 'revealed' Christ to people at a time of persecution. It gave Christians at the time hope that God was still in control and would one day bring judgement upon forces of 'antichrist', governing powers that persecuted Christians at the time.
People of the day understood what the mumbo jumbo was all about. They understood the imagery. They knew who the harlot was, the horsemen, the plagues because they were active images in stories of the day.
People had been writting similar types of literature for hundreds of years prior, especially in Hebrew culture.
Since then, much of the meaning has been lost. But, understanding the mumbo jumbo isn't important. God doesn't expect his believers to be gameshow geniuses who read all the books and theories and finally figure out the riddle.
The Book of Revelation spoke to the people of the day and gave them hope against powers of antichrist. Today, it does the same for many believers who hope in similar fashion.

He did come out and said what he was meaning to say to all of us, you probably lost the concept of what he was trying to say because the bible says many will see, and still be blind and many will hear and not perceive. So you fall under that category where many will hear and see but yet not perceive. you can ask the lord to help you see the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in your life then you will understand what he was talking about.

It is Revelation(no "s" on the end). It is the revelation of Jesus Christ given by GOD to Jesus to give to the Angels who are over the Churches.
To understand it one must read the other prophetic books of the Bible. Some parts of it we will never understand until HE explains them to us. The parts we are to understand are about the period of time called the Tribulation and The Great Tribulation. That is the last three and one half years of the seven year Tribulation period.

You probably mean Revelation. Well, in the book of Acts Christ ascends into heaven, Revelation pictures his return and the events which transpire beforehand. It also shows our Savior returning in all his glory.

If you make something vague enough and bury it in ambiguous text, something is bound to happen that people can say fits your prophecy. Nostradamus did it, and it is like that all through the bible. If you want to believe and don't look very closely, many predictions in the bible appear to be true but in reality have not.

John was living under a government that was hostile to his religion. He was writing about that government. In order to have his message read by as many of his co-religionists as possible, he had to approach his subject obliquely.

It is REVELATION! Singular.
Revelation is one of the most LOGICAL books in The Bible.
Get to any Christian Book Store and get an OUTLINE.
the Book REVELATION will explain itself with the help of this little "helper".
(( It was written in Cryptic form because of where and when it was scribed.))
