Spain is EU legally if you live in EU you dont even need passport but most members insist on one for airtravel.If you drive across Europe no one outside of France will even stop you and check

I don't think so but you better check. My daughter went to Tunisia with four weeks left. I didn't realise it was so close to running out. But tht was before all this terrorist stuff. I think the reason they want six months is if you injure yourself and have to stay there a while. Check, best be safe than sorry.

No, and if your passport were to expire while you were away you can ger it renewed over there!
