I saw this girl at school, and she was from the special ed department. At first it, all I saw was a motorized wheelchair, and it looked like it was moving on its own. But in the seat was what looked like a baby. Only she wasn't a baby. I was told she was around my age, but she looked like an infant. Can someone please tell me what her condition is?

if she is quite tiny and fragile, she may have osteogenesis imperfecta(latin for-imperfect making of bones)if this is the case, her bones are small and fragile and prone to repeated breaks from things that would not even bruise a person who doesnt have the disease.i had a wonderful friend with this illness, she was in college and she had a job.a really amazing girl.so,maybe befriend ur fellow student, say hi.im sure she'd appreciate being treated like the other students, and u could make a new friend!!! of course,it may be another illness altogether, but my friend did fit this description.

it is probably primordial dwarfism, which is a severe type of dwarfism that affects less than 200 people in the entire world. The person will look significantly smaller than their age and will usually weigh less than 4 pounds at birth... Whether or not this is it... say hello to her... i'm sure she would really appreciate that

Probably dwarfism. I went to camp with a girl who looked like she was 5 years old, but she was my age (13 at the time).

Why don't you ask her? Talk to her, and you might actually make a new friend and learn something?

And it sounds like it could be a form of dwarfism or Progeria.
