Jesus was a real person, there's really no fighting that. He was not, however, the son of any god, nor a true messiah. Apollonius of Tyana did the exact same things at the exact same time. The Jesus myth is almost identical to Horus from Egypt.

The Jesus Christ of the myth is really an amalgamation of many different messiah myths. It's neither true nor original.

Yes i do believe Jesus Christ is Lord! He is my lord and savior! Psalm 18 says, "How I love you lord! You are my defender. The lord is my protector; he is my strong fortress. My god is my protection, and with him I am safe. He protects me like a shield; he defends me and keeps me safe. I call to the lord, and he saves me from my enemies. Praise the lord!"

Would you please add to your question why you love being a Christian and why you believe Jesus Christ is Lord? Are you a born-again convert, or did you have help escaping from an unpleasant situation? Or is it simply how you were raised? Are you traditional or contemporary? Please explain.

I believe Jesus Christ existed, however I do not believe he is the "Lord" or the son of "God". I think he was a good person who tried to teach and promote love and compassion. He is considered a "Bodhisattva" in my religion.

Good for you, I'm not. Considering your religion, due to its own complexity, has the most astounding proof against its authenticity of all the major religions,. No.

This coupled with the believe or suffer eternally will not when you very many moral followers, but hey, if you can accept this and many other horrible structures, whatever floats your boat.
